Most expensive home in the World - Antilla (India)

Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s super luxury house (Antilla) in Mumbai may be the costliest home in the world but it does not feature in Forbes’ list of most expensive homes as the house is not for sale. 
Forbes says “Our global list of costliest homes is limited to only those homes, which are currently on the market but Ambani’s Antilla is not for sale”. Mukesh Ambani, India’s richest man plans to move into this much talked about super-luxury but odd looking 27-storey skyscraper in Mumbai later this month.
It is being widely reported in media that many high profile personalities are expected to be present on the occasion of Antila’s house warming party later this month. The dignitaries may also include, India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Interestingly, in the past Manmohan Singh has many times appealed business tycoons to be role models of moderation.



According to the Forbes Magazine, Ambani, who is currently the fourth richest in the world, may overtake Carlos Slim as the world’s richest person in 2014.
The Forbes magazine further adds, “the highest price paid for a home in 2010 was somewhere between $47 million and $72 million for Le Belvedere in Bel Air”.
